DJ Tool
Set Energy Planner
Plan your BPM and energy curve
Enter up to 12 tracks with their BPM and energy level. The tool shows you the curve of your set and gives you automatic feedback on whether the build is professional.
What you learn with it
Planning a set that tells a story — with a build, a peak and a clean closer. That's the difference between 'playing tracks' and 'playing a set'.
How to use the tool
Add your tracks (the name is optional, BPM and energy are what matter)
Energy level: 1 = very calm, 10 = absolute peak
Position: opener (start), mid (middle), peak (high point), closer (end)
Drag and drop tracks to change the order
The live graph and the automatic feedback update immediately
The classic set energy curve: a slow build (opener 4–5/10) → rise to the peak (8–9/10) in the middle → a slight drop to the closer (6–7/10). Avoid BPM jumps of more than 8 BPM.

15–30 minutes
Take the time in one go — hearing and timing develop through repetition, not through reading.
