What we earn from, and what we do not
DJLearn is free and the learning path is meant to stay that way. To make that work, since September 2026 some product pages in the equipment catalogue carry links to a retailer that earn us a commission. This page says which ones, what we get out of them, and what that changes about our recommendations. The short answer to the last one: nothing.
Which partnerships exist
- Programme
- Amazon Associates (amazon.de)
- Account since
- 23 August 2026
- Affiliate tag
- djlearn0d-21
- Where links appear
- Only on product pages in the equipment catalogue, labelled as an ad. Nowhere else — not in the learning path, not in lessons, not in the glossary.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Nothing changes for you: you pay the same price you would without our link.
Three rules we hold ourselves to
The link does not decide what we recommend
Which device we suggest for which path lives in a register in the source code, together with a citation from the manufacturer's own page. Whether a product carries an affiliate link is maintained separately, in the admin area. The setup finder and the catalogue ordering never read that field — a check in our test run fails the moment somebody changes that.
Labelling happens where the click happens
Every affiliate link is labelled as an ad right on the button, and marked as a paid link for search engines. A notice you only find in the legal imprint is not labelling.
We show no prices we cannot back up
The catalogue shows price brackets instead of amounts, along with the month we last checked them. Street prices change faster than a page can follow — and a stale price next to a buy link is exactly the kind of inaccuracy that makes money.
What you will not find here
- No paid placement: no manufacturer can buy their way into a recommendation, a list or a setup.
- No sponsored learning content: lessons, quiz questions and the glossary carry no affiliate links and nobody pays for them.
- No data for partners: we pass on neither your name nor your email address nor your setup to an affiliate programme.
- No hidden links: where a link earns us money, it says so.
Check rather than trust: every factual claim in the learning path and every device in the catalogue carries its source. What we count when you click an affiliate link is in the privacy policy. Source registerPrivacy
