XP (experience points)
Points awarded for completed lessons.
Detailed explanation
XP (experience points) are awarded on DJLearn for completed lessons and quizzes. They measure your progress and let you climb through the DJ levels (rookie → club-ready DJ). The XP system is inspired by gamification mechanisms that demonstrably raise motivation to learn.
In practice
Points do not teach you anything — they only make visible what you have already done. The value is in the feedback: after a lesson you see immediately that it counted, and next time starting is easier. The only thing that matters is not confusing them with skill. Anyone with a lot of points who has never stood at a machine has read, not practised.
Assessment by the DJLearn editorial team — experience, not a sourced factual claim.
