Streak
The number of consecutive days with learning activity.
Detailed explanation
A streak counts how many days in a row you have learned something. The streak system is a motivation tool that rewards daily practice and encourages consistency. Much like Duolingo — losing a streak you have built up is unpleasant enough to keep you going daily. Consistent daily practice is the single biggest factor in progressing quickly as a DJ.
In practice
Twenty minutes a day beats three hours on a Sunday. The reason is not discipline, it is how ears and hands develop: beatmatching does not improve through thinking, it improves through repetition at short intervals. That is why the number of consecutive days counts here and not the total time — and why the most important day is the one after the first day you missed.
