  • Cable: 3.5 mm mini jack to 2× RCA

    For the build

    ⚠️ Unlike most controllers, this one puts out the master through a stereo mini jack, not through RCA. An ordinary RCA cable does not fit — the most common wrong purchase for this model.

  • Jack adapter 6.3 to 3.5 mm

    Check first

    The headphone socket is the small 3.5 mm one. Many DJ headphones come with a 6.3 mm plug — usually an adapter is included or screwed on. Check before you want to play, not after.

Frequently asked questions about this setup

Can I start playing right away?
Yes. A controller, headphones and a computer with the bundled software are everything you need to practise — at the start the headphones fully replace speakers. What else you need you probably already have: a table at the right height and a free USB port.
What is missing from this setup?
Speakers. That is a decision, not an oversight: one controller that genuinely holds up is worth more than three pieces that are each just barely adequate. Monitors join once you start recording sets or judging your mix — until then the headphones tell you enough.
Is this enough for a small party?
For the control side yes, for the sound no. A controller in this class has outputs a PA can connect to — but the PA itself is a separate item, and many rooms already have one. Find out beforehand what is there and which connector it uses; that is the question an evening actually depends on.
