What the controls are called on this device
The learning path shows everything on the DDJ-FLX2. This table translates every control from the course to this device — with the page of the manufacturer’s manual where it appears. If a control is missing, the manual does not list it.
| In the course | On the device | Manual p. |
|---|---|---|
| EQ high | EQ (HI) knob | 22 |
| EQ mid | EQ (MID) knob | 22 |
| EQ low | EQ (LOW) knob | 22 |
| Tempo fader | TEMPO slider | 17 |
| Jog wheel | Jog wheel | 20 |
| Channel fader | Channel faders | 22 |
| Crossfader | Crossfader | 22 |
| Headphone cue | Headphone CUE buttons (channel) | 22 |
| Master level | MASTER LEVEL knob | 21 |
| Performance pads | Performance Pads | 19 |
⚠️ The manual is the one for the DDJ-FLX6, NOT for the GT variant recommended in the buying guide. ⚠️ Here too there is no filter/colour control in the list of controls; instead there is MERGE FX (p. 15) and a separate BEAT FX section (pp. 23–24). English edition — the page numbers refer to it.
What you still need
The device alone does not make an evening. What follows here comes from the connectors of your setup — for the devices whose manual is in our archive, with a page number.
RCA cable (2× phono)
For the buildThe master output is an RCA socket. For active speakers with RCA inputs you need an RCA-to-RCA cable; if your speakers use jack or XLR, the other end has to match.
Deliberately without prices: a cable price is the most short-lived figure a page can carry. This says WHAT is missing, not what it costs.
